91 Samuel Smith’s Taddy Porter
(Yorkshire, England) An intense, very dark, tangy beer. Full in body and packed with flavor. It is fermented in slate, double deck vessels for circulation of the yeast.

84 Peregrine Golden Ale
(Mendocino, CA) This beer first took flight in 1983 and until now, was available only on draught at the Hopland Brewery--California’s first brewpub. Peregrine is still brewed with 100% Cascade whole hops, giving it the delicate spirited character loyal beer drinkers love.

80 Eye of the Hawk Select Ale
(Mendocino, CA) This high-powered, 8.0% alcohol tawny classic ale has an intoxicating, malty nose with hints of summer fruit. The taste is creamy and toffeeish with a long, dry follow, and a nip from the alcohol.

79 Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (draft)

77 Humboldt Hemp (draft)
(Arcata, CA.) It’s back!! Ruby red ale with a rich malty flavor. Hemp seeds lend an herbal, slightly nutty flavor and aid in head retention. A Santa Cruz favorite!

76 Seabright Brewery’s Blur IPA
(Santa Cruz, CA) Our most local beer! Our friends over at Seabright Brewery have started bottling in 22oz bottles, and this is their filtered IPA. Hoppy and flavorful, this one’s a sure bet.

(Mendocino, CA) Brewed in the traditional style, Red Tail is a full flavored amber ale. Rich in body and aroma. It has a refreshing aftertaste. Red Tail Ale has delighted ale drinkers for years and has been acclaimed in the United States for its crisp, clean flavor.

71 Sierra Nevada IPA (draft)

70 Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout
(Yorkshire, England) A classic beer that is bittersweet, yet smooth. This oatmeal stout has a highly-roasted malty flavor. It’s made in an old country style and tastes great.

69 Samuel Smith’s Lager
(Yorkshire, England) This classic example of Yorkshire fermentation. Done in stone (slate) vessels, it produces a circulation of yeast which gives this lager beer its very full texture and roundness. This is a rich golden colored beer.

66 John Courage
(England) This English import is probably one of the best ambers you will ever taste. Brewed with Scottish Courage malt, it is not too bitter and not too sweet. The smooth finish leaves you craving the next sip.

65 Ayinger Celebrator Doppelbock
(Germany) This is a beautifully balanced beer. It’s richness mellows out into a long, dry finish.

64 Red Stripe Lager
(Kingston, Jamaica) The most popular of the Caribbean beers, Red Stripe is a light tasting and soft-bodied lager that reminds us of tropical days on a beach in Jamaica. It’s Irie Mon!

63 Red Hook ESB Ale (draft)
(Seattle, WA) Coming from one of the Northwest’s first micro breweries, this amber colored bitter ale has refreshing fruit undertones and a nice dry taste.

62 Wolaver’s Brown Ale (Organic)
(Ukiah, CA) This mild, creamy brown ale is deep amber in color, smooth and luscious. For those who simply love great beer, its rich taste, body and character make it a delicious choice.

61 Pilsner Urquell (draft)
(Czech Republic) The original pilsner after which all of the world’s pilsner beer makers strive to imitate. Pilsner Urquell is still lagered in old world style in wooden kegs as it has been since 1292. Its combination of fresh local spring water and exclusive use of the Czech Zatec hops produce an immensely complex beer with a soft body and excellent balance of hops and malts. Pilsner Urquell is considered by most beer experts to be the best beer in the world. Truly the original!

60 Paulaner Hefe-Weizen (draft)
(Munich, Germany) Unfiltered wheat beer. Loaded with Vitamin B and has less calories than Bud Light. Traditionally known as a breakfast beer, this Hefe Weisen has a hint of clove and citrus after taste.

58 Thomas Kemper Orange Cream Soda & Root Beer (draft)
(Seattle, WA) Two unique drinks. A fabulous root beer, so good we put it on draft! Add a scoop of french vanilla ice cream and you will enjoy a great root beer float. Try the sweet orange cream soda for a subtly sweet treat. Now, try our new ginger beer as well, a great non-alcoholic option from Bundaburg!

57 Anderson Valley Hop Ottin’ IPA (draft)
(Boonville, CA) A full-bodied IPA with bright, hoppy character. Well balanced and crisp, this is another great product from the folks at Anderson Valley!

56 Sierra Nevada Celebration (draft)
(Chico, Ca.) Wonderfully robust and rich, Celebration Ale is dry-hopped for a lively, intense aroma. At 6.8% alcohol by volume this ale is sure to make this winter more festive.

55 Pacifico
(Mexico) A nice light lager with a good hoppy flavor and a golden coloring.

54 Orval Trappist
(Florenville, Belgium) Worldwide only five of Belgium’s smallest monastery breweries are allowed to produce this unique and classic ale. Brewed unfiltered at the monastery founded in the 1100’s, Orval Trappist is a sedimented, medium strong beer with a teasing bitter orange color and fruity mildly-sour bouquet. God bless the monks! It’s a must try.

53 Carlsberg Lager
(Copenhagen, Denmark) This lager is known in some markets as hof, after the Danish Royal Court. It has the soft, smooth, malty dryness that is typical of Carlsberg and its home country.

51 Snake Dog IPA

(Fort Bragg, CA) Here’s a richly, flavorful red ale from the North Coast Brewing Co. Slightly malty with hops to balance it, this gold medal winner goes great with a burger!

49 Arrogant Bastard Ale
(San Marcos, CA) You’re not worthy! (At least, according to the bottle.) A rich, malty ale from the folks at the Stone brewery, not for the faint of heart. However, you might be up to the challenge.

48 Pyramid Hefe-Weizen (draft)
(Seattle, WA) Much more traditional in style then a lot of Americanized wheat beers. An unfiltered hefe with nutty tones. Great Summer-time beer. Try it with a slice of lemon. Enjoy!

44 Erdinger DunkelWeisse
(Germany) This dark wheat specialty is brewed according to an age-old recipe. Like all Erdinger wheat beers, this dark variety also acquires it flavor as it matures in the bottle. A connoisseur’s favorite.

42 Negra Modelo
(Mexico) This is probably the best beer out of Mexico. A very good dark ale. Malty and nutty. Skip the lime, it doesn’t need it.

41 Black Watch Cream Porter (draft)
(Portland, OR) Creamy porter with smooth texture from MacTarnahan’s use of malted barley, unmalted grains, and oatmeal. A mellow coffee like flavor.

40 Lindeman’s Lambic
(Vlezenbeek, Belgium) 3 Flavors: Peach/Cherry/Raspberry. Ask your server for flavor availability. An elegantly and exotic dessert style brown ale made with sweet fresh fruit added to an aged lambic (wild yeast) beer. Cork finished and served in a wine glass.

(Ontario, Canada) A sweeter pale lager from Ontario, Canada. Nice and light.
